Va.m.P NY

The June 12th issue of a.m. New York had a wonderful Vamp insert in honor of the HBO series TrueBlood, to which I am now addicted.  Wonderful stories about vampires protesting the proposed nighttime subway cuts: "The MTA knows full well that it's impossible for the undead to ride the subway during daylight hours," said Henry Millman, general counsel for the New York District of the American Vampire League (AVL)."  Ads like:

Geico: "The money you could save if you were immortal"
Mini Cooper: "Feel the wind in your fangs."
Monster.com: "When you sleep in a coffin, it's easy to think outside the box."

And the travel section!  "This winter, treat yourself to perpetual darkness during the Arctic Circle's December solstice...."

In a word, priceless!

Speaking of vamps, still a few weeks left to join the Vamped
post release party and enter the giveaway.
